Galaxy AR Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the Galaxy AR augmented reality galaxy and solar system application and this Galaxy AR website (collectively, the “Services”). Wade Sisco is the individual developer responsible for personal information directly collected through the Services. The separate End User License Agreement and Terms of Use begins later on this page.
1. The App Covered by This Policy
Galaxy AR is an iPhone and iPad application that places interactive galaxies, planets, constellations, orbital paths, meteor experiences, and related visual content into the user’s environment. The app includes augmented reality, camera and motion features, optional constellation placement based on device location and heading, optional photo saving, advertising, rewarded access, and an optional full-app purchase. Galaxy AR does not require you to create a developer account.
2. Information You Choose to Provide
If you contact us by email, we receive the email address you use and the contents of your message. We use that information to respond, provide support, prevent abuse, and maintain necessary business or legal records. We do not add you to a marketing list without your request, and we do not sell your support message.
3. Camera, Motion, and Augmented Reality
Galaxy AR requests camera access to place and display augmented reality content in your environment and to provide optional selfie views. The app may also use device motion, spatial tracking, scene understanding, and supported depth or LiDAR information to position content and support interactive effects. This information is processed on the device for app features. We do not intentionally record or upload raw camera video, face-detection output, raw scene meshes, or raw motion data to our servers. You can deny or revoke camera access in iOS Settings; camera-dependent and augmented reality features will then be unavailable.
4. Location and Compass Heading
If you choose a feature that places constellations according to the sky around you, Galaxy AR may request access to your approximate location while the app is in use and may read the device compass heading. The app uses this information on the device to estimate where constellations should appear. We do not intentionally upload your precise or approximate location history or compass readings to our servers. You can deny or revoke location access in iOS Settings; sky-alignment features may then be limited or unavailable.
5. Photos
When you choose “Save to Photos,” Galaxy AR requests permission to add the image you created to your photo library. The app does not need permission to read your entire photo library for this feature. Saved images are handled by the Photos library on your device and any photo-sync services you have enabled with Apple.
6. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
Galaxy AR may store device-local settings and app state, including legal-agreement acceptance, rewarded-access expiration, full-unlock entitlement state, and interface or experience settings. This information normally remains on your device and may be included in device backups. You can remove local app data by deleting the app, subject to iOS backup behavior and App Store purchase records.
7. Advertising, Diagnostics, and Measurement
Galaxy AR uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display banner advertising and rewarded advertising. Google and its advertising partners may process information such as ad impressions and interactions, device and app information, IP address, approximate location inferred from IP address, identifiers where permitted, diagnostics, and performance data. Apple may also provide the Developer with aggregated or pseudonymous crash, diagnostic, performance, purchase, and usage information depending on your device settings.
Google processes information under its own policies. See Google’s Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. Camera frames, raw scene meshes, location history, compass readings, and photos created in the app are not intentionally sent to Google by those Galaxy AR features.
8. Purchases and App Store Services
Apple processes app downloads, the Galaxy AR full-unlock purchase, purchase restoration, billing, payment credentials, and refunds under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. Galaxy AR receives the transaction or entitlement status needed to unlock eligible features, but the Developer does not receive your full payment-card details.
9. Website and Hosting Data
When you visit this website, the hosting provider may record standard server-log information such as IP address, browser and device type, referring page, requested page, timestamp, and security events. This information may be used for delivery, security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and basic traffic measurement. This static website does not intentionally use advertising cookies or the Meta Pixel.
10. How Information Is Used
Information described in this policy may be used to:
- Provide AR placement, galaxy, solar system, constellation, selfie, and photo features.
- Align optional sky content using device location and heading.
- Save local app settings and restore eligible purchased access.
- Provide and measure banner and rewarded advertising.
- Maintain security, diagnose problems, and improve reliability.
- Respond to support, privacy, and legal requests.
- Comply with law and protect users, the Developer, and the Services.
We do not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws may define certain advertising or measurement disclosures as “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising even when no money is exchanged. Where applicable, we honor relevant device, platform, consent, and legally required request choices.
11. Your Choices
- Manage camera, location, and photo permissions in iOS Settings.
- Manage Apple analytics, advertising, and tracking choices in iOS Settings.
- Manage Google ad preferences through Google’s available advertising controls.
- Choose whether to view a rewarded advertisement; a separate purchase may be available for full access.
- Delete device-local data by uninstalling the app, subject to backups and App Store records.
- Contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information directly controlled by the Developer, subject to applicable exceptions.
12. Data Retention and Security
Temporary camera, motion, spatial, location, and heading processing ends with the applicable on-device session. Device-local settings remain until removed by the app, erased by you, or deleted when the app is uninstalled, subject to backups. Support messages are retained only as reasonably necessary to respond, prevent abuse, keep appropriate business records, or meet legal obligations. Advertising, platform, hosting, and diagnostic providers retain information under their own policies.
We use reasonable safeguards for information directly under our control. No storage or transmission method is perfectly secure, so we also minimize the information we directly collect.
13. Children’s Privacy
Galaxy AR is a general-audience educational and entertainment app and is not directed specifically to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information by email or through the Services, contact us and we will review and delete it as required by law. Apple, Google, and advertising services apply their own age, consent, and account rules.
14. Regional Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or information about certain disclosures, and to object to or opt out of certain processing. These rights may be subject to identity verification and legal exceptions. Because camera, motion, spatial, location, heading, photo, and most preference information stays on your device, the Developer may not possess that information to retrieve or delete it for you.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy when the app, website, providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the date at the top of this page and provide additional notice where required.
16. Privacy Contact

Separate software terms
Galaxy AR End User License Agreement & Terms of Use
IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY.
These Terms apply to Galaxy AR and related software and digital content developed or distributed by Wade Sisco as an individual (the “Developer”). An app-specific notice controls if it conflicts with these Terms.
Apple-distributed software remains subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These Terms supplement, and do not replace or conflict with, mandatory Apple terms or non-waivable consumer rights.
1. Acceptance and Eligibility
By tapping “I Agree,” or by downloading, installing, accessing, purchasing, or using Galaxy AR, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms for you. Acceptance is not consent to optional advertising tracking or to camera, location, or photo access; protected permissions and choices are presented separately when applicable.
2. Limited License
Subject to these Terms and platform rules, the Developer grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to install and use Galaxy AR on compatible devices you own or control for personal, educational, or internal non-commercial use. The app is licensed, not sold. Family Sharing and similar platform features are permitted only as authorized by the platform.
3. Ownership and Intellectual Property
The Developer or applicable licensors own the app and its protectable source code, object code, architecture, algorithms, data structures, workflows, documentation, interfaces, layouts, interaction designs, icons, artwork, themes, shaders, textures, animation, audio, three-dimensional models, augmented-reality overlays, spatial scenes, galaxy structures, planet and constellation content, educational materials, branding, and updates. Protected implementation details include camera and motion processing, spatial mapping, scene understanding, calibration, AR placement, visualization, particle systems, planet and galaxy rendering, location-based sky alignment, and related methods. Third-party materials remain owned by their licensors. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
4. Prohibited Conduct
Except where applicable law expressly permits an activity despite this restriction, you may not copy, redistribute, sell, rent, sublicense, publicly display, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decrypt, extract, scrape, bypass security, remove notices, or create an unauthorized clone, reskin, port, derivative, or substantially similar reproduction of the app or its protected expression. You may not use app code, assets, confidential implementation details, audiovisual material, or outputs to train, fine-tune, test, benchmark, improve, or supply data to an artificial-intelligence or machine-learning system without prior written permission. This does not prohibit lawful independent development that does not copy protected expression, bypass security, or misuse confidential information.
5. User Content and Feedback
You retain ownership of content you lawfully own, including photos created with the app. You are responsible for ensuring your content and use do not violate law or another person’s rights. You grant only the limited rights reasonably necessary to process content for a feature you request. Voluntary suggestions, ideas, and bug reports may be used for any lawful purpose without compensation or obligation.
6. Features, Purchases, Advertising, and Third Parties
Features may change, require updates, or be discontinued. Compatibility, uninterrupted operation, and continued availability are not guaranteed. Apple generally controls billing, cancellation, taxes, payment credentials, and refunds. Advertising, rewarded access, third-party services, SDKs, websites, hardware, and content are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Watching a rewarded advertisement may provide temporary access for the period stated in the app. A full-unlock purchase may provide the entitlement described at the time of purchase, subject to these Terms and App Store rules.
7. Safety and Accuracy
Camera, augmented-reality, spatial, motion, selfie, and audio features may distract you. Use them only in a safe, adequately lit, unobstructed place. Stay aware of traffic, stairs, people, pets, furniture, walls, ceilings, glass, cables, and other hazards. Do not use the app while driving, cycling, operating machinery, or doing anything requiring full attention. Stop if you experience discomfort, dizziness, eyestrain, disorientation, or unsafe conditions.
Galaxy, sky, planetary, spatial, location, heading, scale, distance, orbital, surface, and astronomical visuals or information may be simplified, estimated, simulated, artistic, incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Galaxy AR is an educational and entertainment tool. It is not for professional astronomy, scientific measurement, navigation, aviation, maritime use, emergency response, or any other safety-critical purpose.
8. Termination
This license ends automatically if you materially violate these Terms. Access may be suspended when reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, fraud, security risks, infringement, abuse, nonpayment, platform requirements, or material breach. On termination, stop using and delete the app, except for inaccessible automatic backups. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive.
9. Warranty Disclaimer
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GALAXY AR IS PROVIDED “AS IS,” “AS AVAILABLE,” AND “WITH ALL FAULTS.” THE DEVELOPER DISCLAIMS EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, COMPATIBILITY, SECURITY, AND ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION. NOTHING HERE LIMITS A NON-WAIVABLE CONSUMER RIGHT.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OPPORTUNITY, OR GOODWILL; BUSINESS INTERRUPTION; OR DEVICE, EQUIPMENT, PERSONAL, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ARISING FROM GALAXY AR OR THESE TERMS. TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE APP OR FEATURE DURING THE PRECEDING TWELVE MONTHS OR US $50. THIS DOES NOT LIMIT LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE LIMITED.
11. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Wade Sisco harmless from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use, violation of these Terms, or content infringing another person’s rights. This does not require indemnification for the Developer’s own unlawful conduct, negligence, or breach where prohibited by law.
12. Export, Law, and Venue
You may not use or transfer Galaxy AR in violation of United States export control, sanctions, or other applicable laws. Except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise, Nevada law governs these Terms, and court proceedings will be brought in a court with jurisdiction in Clark County, Nevada. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
13. Changes and General Terms
These Terms may be updated to reflect changes in the app, law, security, platform requirements, or business practices. Material changes will receive reasonable notice where required, and renewed acceptance will be requested when appropriate. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum lawful extent and the remainder continues. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
14. Privacy
The Privacy Policy above explains relevant data practices. Acceptance of these Terms acknowledges that the policy was presented; it is not consent to optional advertising tracking, personalized advertising, camera access, location access, photo access, or other protected permissions.
